Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator!

We are looking for a safety-driven professional to support and lead workplace safety initiatives for a growing manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a world-class safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting training, and reducing workplace risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and support a strong safety culture throughout the facility

• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures

• Conduct safety training for employees and supervisors

• Perform routine safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed

• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety documentation

• Investigate workplace accidents and communicate findings to leadership

• Lead and coordinate the site Safety Committee

• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices

• Assist with emergency preparedness and Emergency Action Plans

• Present safety metrics and trends during site business reviews

• Maintain accurate safety records and reports

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

• Previous environmental health & safety experience required

• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work collaboratively with management and employees

• Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Skills

• Manufacturing or industrial safety experience

• Experience conducting safety audits and training

• Ability to analyze incidents and implement corrective actions

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed throughout the facility
