Quality Control & Logistic Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Quality Control & Production Oversight Coordinator. In this role, you will work both in the office and in the production environment to ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will coordinate transportation and logistics for completed products, inspect finished materials for accuracy, and visit the factory floor with measuring tools to verify dimensions and product quality. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards that have defined Northeast Concrete Products for over three decades.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $21.63 – $36.05 per hour
• Equivalent annual salary range approximately $45,000 – $75,000 per year
• Full-time position
• Work Location: In person (Hewitt NJ)

Quality Control & Production Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished precast concrete products for accuracy and quality
• Verify compliance with shop drawings and specifications
• Monitor daily production processes and workflows
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions for product repairs
• Utilize tape measures and other tools to confirm product dimensions and specifications
• Maintain detailed documentation, inspection reports, and production records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within plant operations

Logistics & Distribution Management Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and distribution of completed products
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and scheduling
• Track shipments and assist with logistics planning
• Ensure products are prepared and documented properly prior to delivery
• Maintain organized records related to shipping and distribution activities

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing/production environments
• Manufacturing or quality control experience preferred
• Logistics coordination experience preferred
• Supervisory or team-lead experience is a plus
