Receiving Associate

Located in Denver, CO

Salary: $25.00 - $27.00

The Receiver works in the warehouse and is responsible for receiving incoming materials from several manufacturers and putting them away.

Duties:

• Unload product from delivery truck
• Receive materials and components into shop management software
• Monitor receiving requirements via shop management software
• Maintain inventory in an organized manner and perform cycle counts per system requirements
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads
• Physically sorting through various products in order to remove defective material
• Maintains a clean work area, free from debris on warehouse floor
• Assists in other areas as needed

 

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 1 – 2 years related experience
• Basic math and organization skills
• Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. or more
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Forklift certification and experience with pallet jacks required
• Ability to work on feet for long hours
• Team Player and willingness to help in other areas
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of safety protocols and requirements

Work Environment 

Warehouse environment; will also enter a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, loud noises, dust and extreme temperatures, as well as customer sites; PPE required in manufacturing (i.e. safety glasses). Standing and/or walking for the duration of shift (at lease 8-10 hours per day). Able to lift 75lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift.
