Production Lead

Job Summary

A manufacturing company in Thomasville, NC is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Lead to oversee daily production operations and ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing leadership experience, the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of production processes, workflow management, and employee performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees to ensure daily production goals are met
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and efficiency on the production floor
• Train, coach, and mentor team members on company policies, safety procedures, and production standards
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and products meet company specifications
• Assist with scheduling, assigning work, and monitoring attendance and performance
• Troubleshoot production issues and communicate concerns to management in a timely manner
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment
• Work closely with management to improve production processes and increase efficiency
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records as needed

Qualifications

• Previous Production Lead or Manufacturing Leadership experience REQUIRED
• Strong background in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to read production schedules, work orders, and manufacturing instructions
• Forklift experience is a plus (if applicable)
• Basic computer and reporting skills preferred

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Must be dependable with strong attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Schedule & Pay (Customize as Needed)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: 1st / 2nd Shift Available
• Pay Rate: Based on experience
