Dispatcher (Temp-to-Hire) – Ravenel, SC

Pay: $19.00/hour

We are looking to bring on a dependable Dispatcher to help coordinate towing operations in a busy office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, multitasking, and working with both drivers and internal teams. Prior dispatch experience is not required—we are open to candidates with strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily dispatch operations and ensure timely service completion
• Assign towing requests to drivers with a focus on efficiency and coverage
• Anticipate workload demands and prepare staffing resources accordingly
• Arrange backup support through external providers when needed
• Track operational activity and recommend improvements to reduce expenses
• Build and maintain a reliable network of towing partners
• Provide drivers with job details, documentation, and payment instructions when required
• Stay on top of active jobs and adjust assignments to meet deadlines
• Communicate issues, delays, or concerns to leadership
• Develop strong working relationships with drivers and internal transportation staff
• Analyze reports and performance data to improve service delivery
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and company guidelines

Schedule & Workplace Expectations:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch)
• Consistent attendance is essential; ongoing tardiness or call-offs are not acceptable
• Business casual dress required (clean jeans and appropriate footwear allowed; no revealing or offensive clothing)
• If running late or requesting time off, employees must notify Express first and then call the office directly—no texting
