Key Responsibilities 

 

prepare parts and surfaces for painting, coating, or finishing operations 

Clean components using solvents, detergents, or other approved cleaning methods

Sand, grind, mask, tape, and plug parts as required for proper coating application

Inspect parts for defects, contamination or damage 

Set up and maintain preparation equipment (sanders, grinders, wash stations) 

Ensure surfaces meet cleanliness and preparation standards 

Work with team members and painters to ensure workflow efficiency 

Follow all safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment

Keep work area clean, oraganized and compliant with companay standards.
