We are seeking a service-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support a busy manufacturing facility in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a high-energy workplace, and can effectively balance administrative responsibilities with employee support.
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in onboarding, employee engagement, recruiting support, and HR administration while helping create a positive employee experience throughout the facility.
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities
Create and deactivate employee access badges
Capture employee photos and manage facility/system access
Ensure all onboarding documentation and processes are completed accurately
Assist with planning and executing employee engagement events
Coordinate vendors, meal orders, schedules, gifts, and promotional items
Support company events such as inventory days and family days
Maintain and organize personnel files and HR documentation
Scan and upload employee records for audit readiness
Assist employees with HR systems and application questions
Track attendance and support general HR administrative functions
Conduct phone screens using scripted interview questions
Coordinate candidate communication and interview scheduling
Assist with early-stage recruiting activities
Manage spreadsheets and documentation related to safety programs
Coordinate vendor visits such as safety shoe trucks
Process work-care authorization forms and related paperwork
Post internal announcements and flyers
Coordinate lunch orders and meeting logistics
Support departmental communication efforts
Initiate background checks and drug screenings for direct hires
Assist with maintaining compliance-related documentation and processes
Associate’s degree preferred
Bachelor’s degree acceptable if aligned with a service-oriented HR background
Previous HR support experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including data entry and simple formulas
Comfortable learning HRIS, attendance, and background check systems
Experience with document scanning and electronic organization
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Service-minded attitude with the ability to handle interruptions professionally
Positive, resilient, and team-oriented approach
On-site manufacturing plant environment
Fast-paced atmosphere with frequent employee interaction
Regular walking throughout the facility
No heavy lifting required
Smart casual/business casual dress code depending on visitors and meetings
No travel required
No supervisory responsibilities
In-person interview with HR
Follow-up interview with Production and Orientation/Production representatives
Possible final interview with department leadership or supervisor
