Job Title: Utility / Meter Reader

Location: Biloxi, MS
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our Utility / Meter Reading Department in Biloxi, MS. This position involves driving to assigned areas, reading utility meters, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent walking and repeatedly entering and exiting a vehicle throughout the day.

Responsibilities:
• Read and record utility meter readings accurately and efficiently
• Drive company or personal vehicle to assigned routes and neighborhoods
• Repeatedly enter and exit vehicle throughout the workday
• Walk long distances outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
• Maintain productivity and accuracy while working independently
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to walk frequently and perform repetitive physical activity throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous meter reading experience is a plus
• Outdoor work experience preferred

Work Environment:
This position requires working outdoors in residential and commercial areas. Employees may encounter uneven terrain, insects, spiders, snakes, and other outdoor environmental conditions.
