Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals of West Seneca is looking for a reliable Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator to operate and monitor molding equipment in a manufacturing environment. The operator will ensure product quality, maintain production efficiency, and follow safety procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Load raw plastic materials into machines
• Monitor machine performance and production output
• Inspect molded parts for defects and quality standards
• Trim, assemble, package, or label finished products
• Adjust machine settings within approved parameters
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
• Record production data and report issues to supervisors
• Follow workplace safety and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus
• Ability to read work instructions and production schedules
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials when needed
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Standing for extended periods
• Repetitive hand movements
• Lifting up to 25–50 lbs (depending on facility)
• Working in a manufacturing environment with heat and noise

Typical Work Environment

• Manufacturing or production facility
• Rotating shifts, overtime, or weekend work may be required
• Use of safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection
