Express Employment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our clients production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts in a timely and efficient manner. 

 

 

Pay rate: $18.00/hour Days and $18.50/hour for nights/graveyard

Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday 5:30pm - 5:30am and Wednesday - Friday 5:30pm - 5:30am

(Current openings are the night/graveyard shifts)

 

Responsibilities: 

 

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines according to production schedule.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and quality standards. Report quality issues to the shift lead.
• Measure and record data as required.
• Work and communicate effectively with other operators, technicians, and leadership to achieve daily production goals and improve process efficiencies.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and understand policies and procedures quickly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and lean manufacturing initiatives as needed.

• Responsible for a clean, orderly, and safe work area.  Assist in maintaining 5S standards.

• Other Duties as assigned.

 

Requirements: 

• 1-2 years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Machine operation experience preferred.
• Standing and walking throughout entire shift (exception lunch and breaks)

• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs, reach, climb and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills
• Wear all appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required.
• Must be able to pass all required screenings and client employment standards.
