Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Trailer Mechanic for a trailer maintenance and repair company in Vandalia, Ohio. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities:
• Inspect trailers for mechanical, structural, and safety issues
• Perform repairs on brakes, lights, tires, suspension systems, and trailer components
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine service work
• Use hand and power tools to repair and replace parts
• Maintain accurate service and inspection records
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards

Requirements:
• Previous mechanical, automotive, or trailer repair experience preferred
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
• Safety-minded with attention to detail
