Location: Brooks, OR

PAY: $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm with possible overtime. Overtime if needed, would be 5:00am-2:30pm/3:30pm.

Position Summary:

We are hiring a Burn-1 Operator in Brooks, OR for a fast-paced industrial metal production environment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating automated metal cutting equipment and supporting overall fabrication and production processes. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, blueprint interpretation, and use of measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate automated metal cutting and fabrication equipment
• Load, unload, and stage raw materials and finished parts
• Perform cutting, grinding, deburring, and general part finishing
• Follow work orders, drawings, and production instructions
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of parts and dimensions
• Track production counts and basic job documentation
• Label and organize materials and finished components
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Inspect parts and report defects or inconsistencies
• Assist with routine equipment cleaning and basic upkeep
• Move materials using material handling equipment as needed
• Support general production flow in a team environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 1+ year of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills required
• Experience with industrial tools and equipment preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and reliability required
• Ability to work full-time with overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Standing and walking for up to 10 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and twisting
• Exposure to industrial noise, dust, and moving equipment
