Job Description:
A local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Class A Machinist to join their team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machines, producing precision parts, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform precision measurements and quality inspections
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Maintain production accuracy and efficiency
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a machinist required
• Strong knowledge of machining practices and equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines

Preferred Experience:

• CNC programming and setup experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
