Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am - 5pm
Compensation ($22/hour)

Seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee daily property operations, resident relations, leasing, compliance, maintenance coordination, and staff supervision. What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community
• Market apartments and process leases and lease addendums
• Explain lease obligations, policies, and property rules to residents
• Conduct monthly orientation sessions for new residents
• Prepare and process annual and interim re-examinations for continued occupancy
• Handle rent collections and delinquent accounts
• Maintain accurate rent collection records and procedures
• Initiate evictions for non-payment and lease violations, including attending court hearings when necessary
• Maintain accurate resident, financial, administrative, and maintenance records
• Coordinate purchasing of supplies, materials, and equipment
• Monitor and supervise outside contractors working on the property
• Manage all move-ins and move-outs according to policies and procedures
• Conduct monthly resident meetings and maintain strong resident relationships
• Coordinate with community and social service agencies to provide resident resources and programs
• Develop and implement resident programs including social events, job readiness, youth, and elderly programs
• Prepare grant applications for human service initiatives
• Analyze and address property security and vandalism concerns
• Report accidents and emergency situations and complete necessary documentation
• Conduct routine property and annual unit inspections
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and emergency coverage with the Housing Manager
• Research and implement ways to improve property services, safety, and efficiency
• Prepare annual budgets and capital improvement planning needs
• Maintain accurate payroll records for property personnel
• Select, supervise, train, and evaluate assigned staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of increasingly responsible management and administrative experience, preferably in housing management
• Knowledge of federally assisted housing programs and occupancy eligibility requirements preferred
• Ability to become certified across multiple housing programs within 6 months of hire
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to prepare analytical, statistical, and narrative reports
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to take instruction and work independently
• Punctuality and professionalism are required
• Ability to supervise, train, and support staff effectively
• Computer proficiency with word processing and data processing software
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations preferred
