Seeking an HR to support HR operations, employee relations, and visa workforce programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
• Maintain accurate employee and employment records
• Assist with payroll administration and leave management
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees
• Support H-2A and other visa workforce programs
• Track visa timelines, renewals, and expirations
• Communicate with government agencies regarding visa documentation and audits
• Support housing, transportation, and logistical arrangements for visa workers
• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and visa regulations
• Process employment applications, status changes, and leaves of absence
• Respond to employment verification and unemployment inquiries
• Conduct pre-employment and post-accident screenings
• Compile and maintain union-related reports and documentation
• Answer phones and support general HR office operations
• Participate in company meetings, training, and special projects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in agriculture
• Experience in unionized environments is a plus
• Familiarity with H-2A, TN, or other employment-based visa programs preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Commitment to safety and confidentiality
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
