Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join a growing millwork company in Greensboro, NC specializing in custom wood doors. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and has experience working with wood materials, measurements, and carpentry tools.

Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble custom wood doors according to specifications and blueprints
• Measure, cut, shape, and install wood materials with precision
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand/power tools safely, including saws, routers, sanders, and drills
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements
• Sand, finish, and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Assist with door framing, assembly, and custom modifications as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Previous carpentry or millwork experience required
• Experience working with custom wood products or doors preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
