Inventory - Quality Control Technician

Salary: $25-$30 (DOE)

Role and Responsibilities

·         Manage new and remanufactured finished goods inventory. Use QuickBooks to issue build assemblies for finished goods to meet inventory requirements.

·         Manage purchased parts and machined parts inventory. Use QuickBooks to issue machine shop work orders and purchase orders to meet inventory requirements.

·         Inspect new & remanufactured finished goods for defects and quality issues. Work with the assembly line to remedy deficiencies and report issues to Assembly Manager.

·         Audit machined part inspection drawings for completeness and verifying all necessary inspections were performed correctly.

·         Inspect received parts from vendors by comparing measurements to the part drawing.

·         Act as the primary point of contact for DC Power Steering Unit assembly and testing. This includes building the DC Power Steering Unit and testing per company procedure.

·         Act as the second point of contact (backup) for warehouse activities, which include receiving, packing and shipping.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·         Knowledge of assembly and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.

·         Familiarity with part drawing conventions and GD&T

·         Proficiency with assembly of mechanical and hydraulic components

·         Experience in a manufacturing environment

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with coworkers, customers, etc.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·         Work Schedule – Full Time:

o    Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

o    Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Preferred Skills

·         Marine Industry experience

·         Experience with Intuit QuickBooks

·         Equipment operator (Pallet Jack, Forklift, Etc.)
