Pay: $65,000 – $75,000 DOE
Location: Fargo, ND | Full-Time, On-Site

A well-established local mortgage company is seeking a Mortgage Closer to join their team in Fargo. This person will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing loan closing packages while coordinating with borrowers, lenders, and internal staff to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely closings.

While prior mortgage closing experience is preferred, the team is willing to train the right candidate who brings strong attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset, and comfort working with financial or legal documents.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate closing documents and ensure all information is complete and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
• Review loan files, verify supporting documents, and identify discrepancies before closing.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and other parties to coordinate closing details.
• Ensure all conditions and requirements are satisfied prior to releasing closing packages.
• Manage timelines and stay on top of multiple files at various stages of the process.
• Maintain organized records and follow internal procedures to ensure clean, accurate files.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep all parties updated throughout the closing process.

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone with high attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over their work.
• Comfortable working with numbers, documents, and processes that require accuracy.
• Prior experience in banking, lending, legal admin, real estate, title work, or a similar environment is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to handle deadlines, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks at once.
• A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn the mortgage closing process from the ground up.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Friday, standard business hours.
• $65,000 – $75,000, depending on related experience.
• Great long-term stability and the ability to grow within the company.
