Accountant

Located in Baldwin Park, CA

Specialized Recruiting Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable AP/AR Clerk for a family-oriented manufacturing company located in Baldwin Park, CA.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, team-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative office environment and is willing to support multiple areas of the business as needed, including accounts receivable, customer service, and sales order processing.

Pay Rate: $24.00 – $28.00 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter vendor invoices and credit memos into QuickBooks or the company ERP system with accurate coding and documentation
• Scan and maintain supporting accounting documents and records
• Enter inventory receiving data into the ERP system
• Match purchase orders with vendor invoices and quantities received
• Set up new vendors, including requesting W-9 forms and maintaining vendor records
• Process vendor payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements with accounts payable aging reports and resolve discrepancies with vendors
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks and customer support as needed
• Support sales order intake and general office operations
• Utilize Excel spreadsheets to maintain supporting schedules and reports
• Ensure accuracy, organization, and timely processing of accounting transactions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience required
• Additional accounting experience or college-level accounting coursework preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems preferred
• QuickBooks experience is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced small office environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
