CNC Operator


Location: Brooks, OR

PAY: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm with possible overtime. Overtime if needed, would be 5:00am-2:30pm/3:30pm.

 

Position Summary:
We are hiring a CNC Operator for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision metal components while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience in machining, blueprint reading, and precision measurement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification
  • Load and unload materials and finished components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
  • Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
  • Maintain production accuracy, part counts, and job documentation
  • Deburr, clean, and finish parts as required
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
  • Assist with basic machine setup and changeovers

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Prior CNC or machining experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
  • Strong basic math and measurement skills
  • Experience with precision measuring tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work full-time with overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and movement around equipment
  • Exposure to industrial noise, dust, and machinery
