Tool Maker / CNC

We are currently hiring a skilled and dependable Tool Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience building, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, fixtures, and precision equipment used in manufacturing environments. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
• Operate manual and CNC machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
• Inspect completed tools and parts to ensure precision and quality standards are met
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performance
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Troubleshoot production issues related to tooling and make necessary adjustments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Tool Maker or in a related machining/manufacturing role required
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and metal fabrication
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Experience operating CNC and manual machines preferred
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
