Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Mississauga. This role involves assembling mechanical components, performing basic wiring tasks, and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and consistent attendance will have the opportunity to transition into a full‑time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Assembly — Assemble mechanical parts, components, and products using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.

• Basic Wiring — Perform basic wiring assembly tasks as required.

• Blueprint Interpretation — Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Quality Inspection — Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

• Safety & Organization — Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Issue Reporting — Report defects or issues to the supervisor promptly.

• Team Collaboration — Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field preferred

• Basic wiring assembly experience required

• HVAC knowledge or related experience is a strong asset

• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or instructions

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight]

Schedule & Attendance Bonus

• Regular Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

• Weekly Bonus: Earn an additional $40/week for maintaining full attendance and providing advance notice for any planned time off
