CM Grinder / Polisher – 1st Shift

📍 Canton, Ohio | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
💲 $18–$20/hour

Now hiring experienced Grinder/Polishers for a manufacturing facility specializing in precision metal components. Candidates must have previous stroke sanding experience and the ability to work from blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Grind and sand sharp edges and burrs from parts
• Operate stroke, belt, and orbital sanders
• Use pneumatic grinders and polishing equipment
• Perform finishing work to specification
• Drill, tap, countersink, and ream holes per blueprint
• Locate and weld studs according to prints

Qualifications:

• Previous stroke sanding experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation and stable work history required
