A premier local business in Harahan is seeking an Inside Sales & Warehouse Support specialist. This is a true "Swiss Army Knife" role where roughly 80% of your time will be focused on phone sales and order management, and 20% will be spent providing vital hands-on support in the warehouse.

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $18.00 / hour

• Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Inside Sales (80%): Conduct professional phone sales, comfortably stick to established company scripts, and occasionally assist walk-in customers with a warm and professional demeanor.

• Order Calculations & Data Entry: Use strong math skills to figure out accurate order costs, prepare client quotes, and input information into the system.

• Warehouse Support (20%): Help run fabrication machinery when needed, sort metal components, and accurately pull outgoing orders.

• Facility Upkeep: Collaborate with the team to keep both the front office and the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications & Skills

• Math & Analytical Skills: You must be sharp with numbers to calculate material dimensions, quantities, and order pricing quickly and accurately.

• Great Communication: A clear, confident, and friendly phone voice with a natural knack for customer service.

• Industry Experience a Plus: Prior experience in a warehouse setting, or familiarity working with sheet metal/metal components, is a major advantage.

• Physical Capability: Ability to transition easily between sitting at a desk and standing/walking in the warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
