Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Support Specialist to provide exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers. This role involves assisting with patient inquiries, scheduling, documentation, and ensuring a positive overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person
Schedule appointments and verify patient information accurately
Assist patients with forms, insurance verification, and general questions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic systems
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication
Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
Perform general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous customer service or healthcare experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills (EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office a plus)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
High school diploma or GED required
