Now Hiring: CNC Setup Machinist

We are looking for a skilled and dependable CNC Setup Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on machining experience who takes pride in producing quality parts and enjoys working independently.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling centers
• Change tooling, fixtures, and jaws
• Select tooling based on work orders and job packets
• Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, verniers, and height gauges
• Perform secondary operations (deburring, sanding, chamfering, clean-up)
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of CNC setup and machining experience (lathes & mills)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment
• Strong understanding of:
  • Machining processes and tolerances
  • Shop math and measurements
• Ability to read blueprints, routings, and work instructions
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality

Physical Requirements

• Stand for entire shift
• Lift up to 40 lbs regularly (more with assistance)
• Frequent bending, lifting, and movement
