M-F 7am-3:30pm

A company in the city of Montebello is seeking an experienced Roll Tender to join the production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a clamp forklift and sit down forklift in a manufacturing or production environment. This role is responsible for staging and loading raw materials to the production and sheeting departments while following production schedules and safety procedures.

Roll Tender/ Responsibilities:

• Stage and load raw materials to production and sheeting departments following production pick tickets
• Operate paper roll clamp forklifts (big and small)
• Operate sit down forklift safely and efficiently
• Bring required raw materials to the production converter line and sheeting department
• Verify staging order of rolls with machine operators
• Use scanners to move product from bins to designated areas
• Follow instructions and production schedules accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor

Roll Tender/Requirements:

• Experience operating clamp forklifts required
• Experience operating sit-down forklift required
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Must wear steel toe work boots
• Experience using RF scanners preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
