Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Admin/Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join a local company. This role is vital in supporting our organization’s operational efficiency by managing accounts payable functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with administrative tasks. Duties
- Process and verify invoices using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable/receivable functions, including data entry of vendor bills, preparation of payments via checks or electronic transfers, and account reconciliation.
- Maintain vendor files, process expense reports, and handle inquiries related to accounts payable.
- Assist with administrative duties such as document management, data entry, and filing
- Support the organization’s bookkeeping activities including double-entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
- Assist with order fulfillment during down time!
Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting or administrative roles with a focus on accounts payable or bookkeeping functions.
- Proficiency in computer software such as QuickBooks, and excel
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible with job duties as assistance may be needed in other areas
- Must have very flexible schedule
