Driver Helper / Mover
Position Overview
A growing moving and logistics company in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver Helper / Mover to assist with residential and commercial moves throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas. This position involves helping load and unload furniture, appliances, and household items while supporting the driver with deliveries, installations, and customer service.
This is a physically active role ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, teamwork, and being on the road.
Responsibilities

Assist drivers with loading and unloading moving trucks

Safely move furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or commercial items

Wrap, protect, and secure items during transport

Help carry items into homes, apartments, offices, and buildings
-
Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area
-
Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and moves
-
Follow safety procedures to prevent damage or injury
-
Assist with assembling or positioning furniture when needed

Support warehouse and moving operations as assigned
Qualifications
-
Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or labor experience preferred

Ability to lift 50–100 pounds consistently throughout the shift

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

Driver’s license is a plus

Experience using hand trucks, dollies, or moving equipment preferred
