Job Title: SHIPPING / RECEIVING CLERK

Location: Fairfield, OH

Compensation: Starting at $19hr

 

Job Description:

• Receives and inspects incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages and 
  reports problems promptly to the appropriate person.
• Prepares items accurately for shipment according to customer orders/instructions 
  by retrieving from the warehouse, packaging, weighing on a scale, and documenting 
  correct shipment details.
• Stores materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number 
  and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and 
  stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment.
• Loads and unloads delivery trailers/trucks by hand or equipment as needed.
• Sets up all courier services or trucking companies depending on production 
  schedules to ship and deliver product to meet customer expectations.
• Maintains the warehouse and receiving area.
• May have to pick parts for shipments.
• Band/shrink wrap shipments and use of basic hand/power tools as needed.

 

Requirements:

• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and high-low 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects 
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day Prior shipping and receiving experience required 
• Experience operating a variety of forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment 
preferre
