Industrial Maintenance Technician

 

Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a leading industrial manufacturing company seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join their growing team.

 

This is a hands-on maintenance role working with production equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Shift/Pay:

• Pay: Based on experience
• Overtime available
• On-call responsibilities may be required based on production needs

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Diagnose production equipment failures and determine root causes
• Repair, replace, and adjust machine components as needed
• Troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives and motors, servo drives, and electronic controls
• Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Install, move, and set up machinery and production equipment
• Run and route electrical and gas lines as needed
• Operate forklifts and shop equipment safely
• Utilize welders, torches, grinders, and fabrication equipment for repairs and modifications
• Maintain accurate maintenance and PM documentation
• Support production teams with machine setups and troubleshooting
• Follow OSHA, safety, and company procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting ability with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience working in heavy manufacturing or industrial environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance practices is a plus
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work overtime and respond to on-call situations when needed

Work Environment:

• Industrial/heavy manufacturing environment
• Indoor and outdoor work conditions
• Frequent lifting, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
• Regular use of hand tools, power tools, welders, torches, grinders, and shop equipment
• PPE required based on work environment
