Delivery Driver / Shipping & Receiving

First Shift

 

Express Employment Professionals, Atlanta NE location has an immediate opportunity for the right person. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years as a delivery driver, experienced in Shipping and Receiving software, strong communication & customer service experience, along with the ability to communicate professionally with clients in person.

 

Driving & Delivery

• Safely operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver equipment.
• Load and unload gear following company handling standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, report any needed repairs for company vehicle.
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.

  

Shipping/Receiving

• Receiving: Log incoming gear into the tracking system, query customer databases for special instructions, and process garments for cleaning.
• Shipping: Prepare processed garments for return shipment (fold, bag, and label), print packing slips, prepare courier/route delivery documents, and pack cartons.
• Cleaning & Processing: Un-assemble tags for tracking, assess dirty gear, and operate industrial laundry machines and cleaning processes.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain accurate records, order shipping supplies, and keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized.

General Support

• Assist with warehouse tasks as needed (sorting gear, staging orders, etc.).
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position will be approximately 60% driving and 40% working in the warehouse. 

Qualifications Required

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. (equipment/boxes can be heavy).
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills (logging deliveries, scanning items, etc.).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• FedEx Manager experience is a plus. Attention to Detail is needed.
• A CDL or DOT is not Required Must have a clean driving record.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm with expected overtime during the week and weekends

Hourly pay: $19.00
