We are hiring a Temporary Receptionist in Morgantown, WV to support a large conference event on June 1 and June 2. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking short-term work, event staffing roles, or receptionist jobs in Morgantown.

The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and customer-focused, with the ability to assist guests and ensure a smooth check-in experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome event attendees in a professional manner
• Check in registrants and verify information using a computer system
• Search attendee names and confirm registration details
• Distribute badges, agendas, and conference materials
• Provide directions and assist attendees with navigating event areas
• Answer general questions and provide basic event information

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, front desk, or receptionist experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills (data entry and name searches)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
