Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Hospital Setting
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Full-Time)

Location: Hospital-based position (on-site)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care and clinical procedures
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
• Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection as directed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR)
• Administer injections and medications as permitted by scope of practice
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient care
• Provide excellent patient communication and support
• Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting
• Current certification from one of the following:
• AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants)
• NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)
• NHA (National Healthcareer Association)
• Registered with AMT (American Medical Technologists)
• Strong understanding of clinical procedures and patient care workflows
• Ability to work Monday through Friday on-site
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred
