Warehouse Administrator Job Description

Summary

The Warehouse Administrator supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials to manufacturing lines while maintaining organized inventory throughout the facility. This position is responsible for accurate inventory transactions, cycle counts, material movement, shipping and receiving coordination, and ensuring inventory accuracy within the warehouse management system. The role works closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to support operational efficiency and timely material availability.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, store, and distribute incoming materials and inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and audits
  • Process inventory transactions using warehouse management or ERP systems
  • Support production lines by delivering materials and tracking inventory usage
  • Organize warehouse locations and maintain clean, safe storage areas
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and documentation of outbound shipments
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
  • Follow company safety procedures and inventory control standards

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience with inventory systems, ERP software, or data entry
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials safely
  • Basic computer and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Current Drivers License

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
