Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to support our operations in South Phoenix on a short-term contract basis. This role will assist with day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring timely ordering, accurate recordkeeping, and smooth communication with vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and process purchase orders for supplies and materials
  • Track orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, and resolve issues
  • Verify invoices and match them to purchase orders and receipts
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with reordering as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operational needs

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math and data entry accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or purchasing systems/ERP
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
