This Customer Service position is primarily responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION

 

Essential Duties

 

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries and help provide answers and guidance to questions on product info, order status, etc.
  • Monitor and reply to incoming emails through the contact center queue daily
  • Accurately input customer orders into the ERP system, ensuring all details are correct
  • Monitor and research order processing from start to finish, tracking order statuses and ensuring timely delivery
  • Help guests who come to the building for meetings, scheduled visits, or service-related inquiries
  • Provide backup to other customer service functions, including parts/warranty tasks, CRKT Store order processing, Office Supply ordering, and other duties as directed by manager

 

Education and Experience

 

  • A four-year college degree or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with 10-Key is desirable
  • Experience with Sales Order Entry, EDI processing, Invoicing, and SAGE/MAS software is desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, is required
  • Customer Service experience is a plus
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to come to reasonable solutions when faced with problems that require a service-minded attitude in standard customer interactions

 

Compensation

 

Pay: $20/HR

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12 PM - 4 PM

  • 20–25 hours per week. If additional hours are needed, they would typically be earlier in the day, mainly to help cover vacations
