Temporary Delivery Driver

Located in Asheville, NC

Salary: $22HR

We're looking for a reliable, physically capable driver to fill in for a short-term assignment.

You'll be operating a box truck to deliver equipment directly to active job sites. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can jump in immediately and work independently. This position is temporary with a full-time schedule of Monday - Friday 6AM - 3PM and will last for proximity 3 weeks to help a stellar team with coverage!

 

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for daily equipment deliveries to job sites
• Load, unload, and handle equipment using proper lifting techniques
• Follow assigned delivery routes and maintain punctual scheduling
• Confirm deliveries and communicate with dispatch or site contacts as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle

 

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR (motor vehicle record)
• DOT compliance required
• Prior box truck or commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Full range of motion required — bending, lifting, carrying equipment
• Must be available to start immediately
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently in the field
