Job Description

Express Employment Professionals Guelph is recruiting on behalf of a local manufacturing client for a Quality Inspector. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality is maintained throughout the production process, meeting both customer and company standards.

Training will be completed on the day shift before transitioning into a steady afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify printed, die cut, and glued products at specified intervals
  • Communicate quality concerns to the QA Manager and Finishing Quality Inspector
  • Ensure all sorted or rejected materials are properly identified and flagged
  • Approve and sign off on quality documentation
  • Complete Certificates of Compliance as required
  • Perform product sampling and inspections
  • Report shortages and late orders to the QA Manager
  • Follow up and resolve Material Caution Flags from production processes
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and SOPs
  • Support continuous improvement and maintain a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing is an asset
  • Knowledge of print, die cutting, gluing, and shipping processes considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
