Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling metal products and components while supporting production operations on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will assist with assembly processes, operate basic production equipment, and help move work-in-process materials throughout various stages of production.

Responsibilities include fastening parts using bolts, screws, rivets, pins, clamps, and other fasteners, as well as operating drill presses, punch presses, and riveting machines to support assembly operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble metal products and components at a bench or on the shop floor
• Remove small quantities of metal using hand files and scrapers to ensure proper fit between parts
• Operate drill presses, punch presses, and riveting machines to assist with assembly operations
• Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, pins, clamps, and other fasteners
• Load and unload Work In Process (WIP) materials through various production operations
• Inspect assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks as needed
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment
