Job Description

Express Employment Professionals Guelph is recruiting on behalf of a great company for a Warehouse Associate / Shipper Receiver. This role supports warehouse, shipping/receiving, and production operations related to water treatment equipment.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in both Fergus and Guelph locations, assisting with inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare water treatment equipment, pumps, and components for shipment
• Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips and purchase orders
• Organize and store inventory within warehouse and production areas
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely
• Load and unload trucks and support outbound shipping logistics
• Assist with cycle counts, labeling, stock organization, and replenishment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment
• Coordinate freight shipments and support overall warehouse operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing preferred
• Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of moderate-to-heavy materials
• Repetitive bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.)

Additional Requirements

• Must have a reliable vehicle – travel required between Fergus and Guelph locations
