Salary: $20-$25/hr DOE

 

We are seeking a Counter Sales Associate for a building materials supplier in Concord, MA. This role is to assist customers with building materials, process orders and quotes, and support daily sales operations in a fast-paced lumber and hardware environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email
• Process customer orders and provide quotes/estimates
• Recommend products based on customer needs
• Contact vendors for pricing and lead times
• Stock products and help maintain displays
• Follow up on customer inquiries and orders
• Support daily store and sales operations

 

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience required
• Construction or building materials knowledge a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand for most of the workday

• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a retail/warehouse environment

 

Schedule

• Monday–Friday between 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (8-hour shift)
• Flexible scheduling within operating hours
• Must be available to work every other Saturday from 7:30 AM–12:30 PM

 

The pay range is $20-$25/hr plus monthly commission opportunity.
