Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Woodworker! The ideal candidate will be proficient in design, construction, and repair of wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures. Skilled in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to create high-quality products. Experienced in reading blueprints, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring precise measurements and cuts. Knowledgeable about various woodworking techniques, including carving, joinery, sanding, staining, and finishing, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail. Committed to producing durable and aesthetically pleasing wooden products tailored to client specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Blueprint reading and material selection
• Use of woodworking tools and machinery
• Precision cutting, sanding, and assembly
• Wood staining, varnishing, and finishing
• Execution and strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Precision in taking measurements, executing tight joints, and evaluating the structural integrity of the final product.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a construction or carpentry environment
• Woodworking Expertise: Strong proficiency in operating power tools (table saws, routers, planers) and hand tools. Lathe experience is highly valued
• Pass pre-employment background check
