Warehouse Supervisor – Night Shift

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead night shift operations and support overall warehouse performance. This role is responsible for directing daily activities, supervising staff, and ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity across all warehouse functions. The Supervisor works closely with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain efficient operations and a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily team meetings to communicate workload, priorities, and updates
  • Supervise shipping & receiving, including inbound unloading, outbound staging, and documentation accuracy
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Manage and develop warehouse team through training, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, proper product handling, and FIFO rotation
  • Monitor truck schedules and communicate delays or issues with internal teams and customers
  • Maintain quality standards for all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA, GFSI, and company standards
  • Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, management, and support departments
  • Identify supply needs and communicate with management to maintain operational readiness

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations
  • Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
  • Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, GMP, food safety regulations)
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math accurately
