Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Salary: $25-31

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing overall facility maintenance, including repairs and preventive maintenance of plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment, including performing scheduled preventive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues.

v  Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.

v  General maintenance activities on plant utility systems to ensure continuous supply of heat, steam, electrical power, chilled water, gas and compressed air.

v  Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems.

v  Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

v  Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors and variable frequency drives.

v  Perform tasks involving industrial control wiring and troubleshooting.

v  Conduct PLC troubleshooting and basic programing.

v  Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards.

v  Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

v  Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

 

v  High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred

v  5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related environment

v  Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery

v  Electrical troubleshooting skills

v  Results oriented and able to handle multiple projects.

v  Must possess good communications skills, both written and oral.

v  Demonstrates organizational and team building skills.

v  Strong attention to detail.
