Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Technician to join a production team. This role is responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to manufactured products while ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply paint coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
  • Ensure proper color matching, thickness, and finish quality
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed
  • Inspect finished products for quality and correct any defects or imperfections
  • Mix and prepare paint materials to proper specifications
  • Operate and maintain painting equipment to ensure consistent results
  • Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues as needed
  • Maintain inventory of paints, solvents, and related supplies
  • Assist with moving products to drying areas and staging for next steps
  • Load, unload, and stack materials for continued production or packaging
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts or cranes (as required)
  • Apply seam sealers and other finishing materials
  • Keep work areas and paint booths clean and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in painting or a similar manufacturing role preferred
  • Knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation
  • Ability to mix, match, and apply finishes accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Familiarity with safety procedures in a painting environment
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and communicate effectively

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Frequent use of hands and tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift (certification preferred or willing to obtain)

Work Environment

  • Industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Exposure to paint, solvents, and chemicals (PPE required)
  • Fast-paced production environment
