Our client company is seeking a reliable and detailed-oriented Materials Handler to manage the movement, storage and distribution of materials and products. This role involves receiving shipments organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate records are maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operation and a commitment to workplace safety.

 

Responsibilities include;

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments
• Verify quantities and quality of materials received 
• Transport materials to appropriate storage or production areas 
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
• Pick, pack and prepare materials for shipment
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely
• Follow company policies and safety procedures
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications include;

 

• 2+ year of experience in a warehouse or materials handling equipment
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
