Heavy Equipment Operator

Pay: $20–$23, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00AM–5:00PM 

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating a variety of heavy equipment, and being part of a hardworking crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Work around existing underground utilities using safe digging practices

• Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor directions

• Assist with loading and unloading jobsite materials as needed

• Support crew members with general labor tasks when equipment operation is not required

• Follow company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and local utility regulations

Expected Results

• Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas

• Inspect equipment daily and report any mechanical or safety concerns

• Maintain safe working distances around crews, traffic, structures, and existing utilities

• Complete projects safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience

• CDL-A with tanker endorsement preferred, but not required

• Experience with dirt work and construction projects

• Ability to read grade stakes, trench plans, and utility layouts preferred

• Knowledge of safe excavation and trenching practices

What to Expect

This position involves working outdoors in varying weather and ground conditions, including heat, cold, mud, and uneven terrain. Candidates must be comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
