The QC technician is responsible for performing tests and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. The QC Technician will also compile data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. This position will report directly to the Quality Control supervisor and will work closely with all production departments.

Summary:
Primary Job Responsibilities
• Support the established Quality policy
• Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.
• Select products and prepare samples for tests at specified stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical or chemical characteristics per required standards.
• Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life and/or material characteristics per required standards.
• Assure 100% compliance to all standards including but not limited to ASTM, NSF, UL, etc.
• Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
• Evaluate data and complete reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Raise concerns to management when quality concerns arise.
• Support operators in finding solutions to quality problems.
• Lift and move heavy items as required.
• Operate lift truck as required.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned
