Auto Mechanic

Location: Delaware, OH
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)  
Schedule: Monday–Friday / Day Shift

Pay: $18.00/ hour

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team. If you have strong diagnostic abilities, take pride in your work, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

 

· Diagnose and repair cars, trucks, and SUVs efficiently and accurately

· Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks

· Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, steering systems, and exhaust systems

· Conduct engine diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

· Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems

· Perform transmission, cooling system, and HVAC repairs

· Complete vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance

· Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper performance

· Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation

· Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards

· Assist with shop maintenance and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

· Previous automotive repair experience required

· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

· Own tools  

· Valid driver’s license required

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· ASE certifications are a plus
